The Doras Luimní Legal Service provides in-depth and specialised support to migrants. This is a confidential, one-to-one service. We aim to provide clients with high-quality, impartial information, as well as advice and representation.
We provide support to people who are involved in Protection Applications by assisting with:
- Making an initial applications for asylum
- Interviews and appeals
- Applications for Subsidiary Protection and Leave to Remain
- Challenging issues with direct provision living conditions such as physical and mental health and transfers at short notice or without consultation
We support people in making Residency Applications including:
- Irish Born Child applications
- Zambrano applications
We also help clients with Visa Applications and we assist people who have received Deportation Orders.
To access our Legal Service the first step is to meet one of our Advice and Information Centre caseworkers to discuss your situation. They will assess your needs and refer you to the Legal Service if appropriate.
