Holding your own fundraising event is an extremely rewarding experience and a great way to show you care about your community. Whether at home, school or at work there are a number of fun and creative ways you can raise funds, from holding a morning tea or a quiz night, to a gala dinner. The possibilities are endless and the benefits can be boundless.
For inspiration we have put together a fundraising ideas sheet to help you get started. Please register your fundraising event with our fundraising team by downloading our fundraising guidelines form. Complete the form and return to us in order to receive our authorisation to fundraise.
In 2015, a number of individuals and groups organised a World Food Night in support of our work, using recipes collected from asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in Limerick. A World Food Night involves inviting your friends, family or co-workers to your home for an international meal, aiming to raise awareness of and support for refugee and migrants in Ireland.
